Head back to Tilted Towers with the new Fortnite season

A new season of Fortnite is starting soon, and it's going back to the past as it revisits the past few years of the game.

The new season will have a lot of features from Fortnite's Chapter 1 Season 5 back in 2018.

Epic Games, the makers of Fortnite, are calling it 'Season OG' - which stands for 'original'.

It will feature a fan favourite map, old skins re-made and the return of some older items.

The official launch date for the new season was Friday 3 November.

Epic Games has not revealed when this season will end, however it says new updates will come out on 9 November and 16 November.

What features are in Season OG?

This update will see the return of fan-favourite original map Tilted Towers, on the original island.

Although it's the same location, fans can expect some new updates to Tilted Towers as well.

Older vehicles like the shopping cart and golf buggy will also be available for getting around, as well as the grappler.

From 9 November there's going to be other features introduced too, including the Driftboard and Quadcrasher.

Throughout the whole of Fortnite OG, different updates will bring different phases from Fortnite's history.

There's also going to be a new pass for players to buy, called the OG pass.

This will be full of 50 of the new items and plenty of rewards.

Ranks will also be reset at the start of this new season, which is what usually happens when a season begins.
