Sam Kerr. Big moment of 2017: Top scorer in Australia’s National Women's Soccer League with 17 goals and became the league's all-time leading scorer with 43. Career highlights: She was named Young Australian of the Year 2018 in January. Says: I love celebrating, whether I'm doing a backflip, sliding on my knees, hugging my team-mates, it's pure emotion and it's fun.”

Dzsenifer Marozsan. Big moment of 2017: Helped Olympique Lyon win treble of Champions League, French league and cup. Career highlights: Became the Bundesliga's youngest ever player when she made her debut at the age of 14. She was named Germany's Female Footballer of the Year in 2017.

Lieke Martens. Big moment of 2017: Helped Netherlands win Euro 2017, scoring three goals in tournament and being named Player of the Tournament.
