The Brigadier penguin and other animals with surprising titles

Sir Nils Olav, a king penguin, has been given the new title of Brigadier Sir Nils Olav in a special ceremony at Edinburgh Zoo. The Brigadier penguin is an honorary member of the King of Norway's Guard, and the ceremony was attended by more than 50 Norwegian soldiers from the unit. During the ceremony, Sir Nils paraded along the row of soldiers to inspect them.

Fusilier Llywelyn might only look like a kid, but he's actually a regimental goat in the Royal Welsh Regiment. He lives at the regiment's base at Lucknow Barracks, Wiltshire, and accompanies them on ceremonial duties.
