Phil Foden has dyed his hair blonde ahead of the Euros. The England midfielder said: "I’ve had the same haircut for ages now so I thought I would try something new and woke up this morning with a lot of comparisons to Gazza!" Paul Gascoigne, known as Gazza, was also a midfielder for England and played in the Euros in 1996. Gazza was one of England's star players in the tournament, so hopefully Foden's blonde locks will help him challenge Gazza's star quality.

Joining Foden with a similar hair colour is Sergio Aguero. Back in 2018 he dyed his hair silvery grey after joking about it with his brother. He said that his son liked it - we suppose that's all that matters!

No we haven't photoshopped this one, superstar Kylian Mbappe had blue hair. The PSG forward dyed his hair blue at the end of last year. Maybe the colour was good luck because he scored a penalty in this match and sported this new goal celebration, V for victory. The dyed hair didn't last long and Mbappe is back to his natural brown colour now.

The original Ronaldo - yes the one before Cristiano! It was the 2002 World Cup and Brazil star Ronaldo was coming back from injury and he didn't want the media to talk about it, so he thought of the perfect distraction... this haircut. His team mates might have thought it was awful but it did the trick and Brazil went on to win their fifth World Cup, and Ronaldo finished as top scorer!
