The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow is the largest venue in the Commonwealth Games. It will host gymnastics, boxing, judo, netball, wrestling and weightlifting during the Games.
This is the Glasgow National Hockey Centre. It has had two brand new pitches made specially for the Games. This venue will host hockey and will be the start and finish point for marathons, road cycling and time trial events. The triathlon will be held at Strathclyde Country Park.
This is the Ibrox Stadium, home of Rangers Football Club. It will be the venue for Rugby Sevens which is a new event at this Games.
The Scotsoun Sports Campus will be where the squash and table tennis will take place.
This purpose built cycling centre is named after Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy. He is Scottish and has been named the most successful Olympic cyclist of all time.
This lovely setting is where fans of lawn bowls will come to watch the action. The Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls Centre has added extra seating for the Games.
This is the where all the competitors will stay during the Games. Athletes from all over the Commonwealth will stay in the Athletes' Village. Afterwards the eco friendly housing will be available for people to buy or rent.
This is Hampden Park, the surface of the playing surfaces have been raised by nearly 2m for the Games. It is usually a football stadium but it will be used as an athletics arena.
Â鶹ԼÅÄ to Celtic Football Club, this is one of the most famous football stadiums in the world. The Queen's Baton Relay visited the stadium which will host the opening ceremony.
The Cathkin Braes Mountain Bike Trails have been built for the mountain biking events. There are 5.5km of trails. The baton is held high on its route into Glasgow before the Games.
Swimming events will be happening at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre . It has two 50m pools and has hosted the Scottish and British Championships earlier this year.
Events are not just being held in Glasgow. The Royal Commonwealth Pool is in Scotland's capital Edinburgh. It has been used in the Commonwealth Games in 1970, 1986 and 2014. The shooting will also be happening outside the host city at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre in Carnoustie.
