Wildfires rage in San Diego, California

Thousands of people have had to flee their homes in San Diego, California in America, after wildfires erupted on Wednesday. No-one's been seriously hurt though.
The fires have already burned a number of buildings and forced a theme park to close.
Officials said that California State University, home to 9,000 students, was evacuated.
Months of drought have made the state of California especially at risk of fires this year.
Fire chiefs are saying that fires like this are unheard of in May. They're more common in October, after the long hot summer, than in spring.
