Beyonce steals the show at America's Super Bowl

Beyonce stole the show at the biggest American football game of the year, the Super Bowl.

The superstar singer performed some of her biggest hits at half time - and wowed the crowd with her live show.

She recently admitted miming the American national anthem when Barack Obama signed in for his second term as President in January.

But there was no miming at the Super Bowl, as the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31.

If having one of the biggest stars in the world perform wasn't enough, the crowd in New Orleans were treated to one of the most thrilling games of all time.

Over 100 million people watch the Super Bowl around the world, as it's the final game of the American Football season and decides who wins the league.

This year's game had everything - incredible 'touchdowns' (a bit like a rugby try), a brilliant come back and even a power cut in the stadium.

The game was held in New Orleans, the city devastated by Hurricane Katrina 8 years ago, so it was a huge night as the city hosted the match known as 'The Greatest Show on Earth'.

And no one will be disappointed as one of the touchdowns was the longest ever recorded in the final.

Baltimore's Jacoby Jones ran almost the length of the field to help his team go on and win the match.

That was just after Beyonce's amazing performance - and she was even joined on stage by members of her old band Destiny's Child.
