Mountain Road reopens after emergency closure for drainage works
A section of the Isle of Man's A18 Mountain Road has reopened following emergency works, the infrastructure department has confirmed.
The stretch of road between the Bungalow and the Creg ny Baa was closed from 13:00 to 15:30 GMT.
The Department of Infrastructure said the "urgent" closure was needed due to "drainage concerns and water on the carriageway".
The route is the main road between Douglas and the north of the island.
Access between Ramsey and Sulby was maintained via the Tholt-y-Will Road during the closure.
