Every week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week's is windows and we start with this photo sent in by Tracey Malone: "View of windows through my bedroom window in Bangkok."

Jo Keegan: "Window originally referred to an unglazed hole in a roof. Window replaced the Old English 鈥榚ag镁yrl鈥�, which literally means 鈥榚ye-hole'... so here is my son using his 'eye-hole'!"
