£5m A40 link road given the go ahead in Carmarthenshire

A £5m link road in Carmarthenshire has been given the go ahead and will be paid for by the council.
The route from the A40 will connect more than 1,000 new homes and the new headquarters for Welsh language channel S4C.
Carmarthenshire council will have the money paid back by the developers.
It is hoped the road will be completed by 2018 and will link the A40 at Travellers Rest with College Road.
