Aberystwyth University appoints new vice chancellor
A new vice chancellor has been appointed at Aberystwyth University.
Elizabeth Treasure is currently deputy vice chancellor at Cardiff University - the first woman to have been appointed to the role - and previously worked as a dental consultant and professor.
She was appointed following a recruitment process after April McMahon stepped down from the role, and will replace acting vice chancellor John Grattan.
Prof Treasure said she was "honoured".
She is expected to take up the role in April 2017.
