A man has been arrested after a five-year-old girl was hit by a car while on the pavement.
The incident took place on Sloper Road in Cardiff at about 17:50 GMT on 24 March.
The 34-year-old from Grangetown was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop a vehicle and failing to report an accident.
He is currently on conditional bail pending further enquiries, said South Wales Police.
The girl, who had been riding her scooter on the pavement, managed to escape with only minor injuries.
A car suspected of being involved has been seized and is being forensically examined.
