Llanelli house fire: Arrest after teenager injured

Neighbours have been told to stay away from their homes for the time being

A teenager has been taken to hospital and another person arrested on suspicion of arson after a house fire.

Emergency services were called to Min Y Morli in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, on Wednesday evening.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the arrested female was in custody and the teenager's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Some neighbouring properties were evacuated and people living closest cannot return until it is safe.

Police and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are both investigating.
