Caerphilly: Van driver in court after second pedestrian dies
A van driver has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving after two pedestrians died.
A woman, 67, and a man, 58, died after the incident on Friday on Nantgarw Road, Caerphilly.
Michael Saltmarsh, 48, was also accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol at Newport Magistrates Court.
He will appear before Newport Crown Court on 17 April.
