Man, 80, dies after falling from 3,000ft mountain on Skye

A team from Skye Mountain Rescue attended the scene at Coire a' Bhasteir
An 80-year-old man has died after falling from a mountain on the Isle of Skye.
Police received reports of the man having fallen at the 3,064ft (933m) Coire a' Bhasteir at about 15:00 on Wednesday.
Emergency services including Skye Mountain Rescue attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
