Cyclist killed in black cab crash in Edinburgh

The collision took place on Corstorphine Road in Edinburgh
A cyclist has died following a collision with a black cab in Edinburgh.
The man, who is believed to be in his 40s, suffered serious head injuries in the incident on Corstorphine Road at about 09:15.
Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said: "This incident happened during a busy rush hour period and the area would have been busy with pedestrians."
He added: "We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact police immediately."
