Philippa Reynolds accused 'accepts responsibility'
A man charged with causing the death of Constable Philippa Reynolds has "accepted his responsibility", a court in Londonderry has heard.
Shane Frane, 25, of the Simon Community on Bonds Hill, is charged with causing the death by dangerous driving.
Constable Reynolds, 27, died in a crash involving a stolen Land Cruiser at the Limavady Road, Derry, last month.
Mr Frane faces 10 charges including driving while unfit and without a licence.
He appeared at Londonderry magistrates court via videolink on Thursday.
His solicitor told the court that Frane now "accepts his responsibility in respect of these matters".
He added that his client "wishes to apologise for his actions and wants to extend his sympathies to the family of Constable Reynolds".
Mr Frane was remanded in custody and will appear in court again via videolink next month.
