Strabane: Man suffers facial injuries in 'racially motivated' attack

The police have said the man, who is aged in his 40s, was assaulted in the Railway Street area of Strabane at about 02:15 GMT on Sunday.
A man has sustained serious facial injuries in a "racially motivated" attack in Strabane, County Tyrone.
The police have said the man, who is aged in his 40s, was assaulted in the Railway Street area of the town at about 02:15 GMT on Sunday.
"This was a nasty assault during which the victim was punched and kicked," the police said.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information about it to come forward.
