Assault on man in Claudy treated as sectarian hate crime
An assault involving a number of men in Claudy, County Londonderry, is being treated as a sectarian hate crime.
A man in his 30s received minor injuries after the attack in the Baranailt Road area of the village on Sunday night, police said.
The group reportedly shouted sectarian abuse before leaving the scene in a silver Seat Leon car.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
