A man has appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with seven offences under the Terrorism Act.

Abdurahman Kaabar, 22, of Martin Street, Sheffield, was arrested on 10 August.

The charges include possessing a record of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism and disseminating terrorist publications.

He was remanded in custody to stand trial at the Old Bailey in September.
