The Cornbury Park Estate will host the Wilderness Festival

Wilderness, the new festival taking place at Cornbury Park, has announced its line-up.

Acts playing from 12 to 14 August include Antony and the Johnsons, Laura Marling and Guillemots.

In January the organisers received a licence to host a festival despite objections from local residents.

The site previously hosted the Cornbury Music Festival until organiser Hugh Phillimore moved it to Great Tew after his company went into liquidation.

It takes place from 1 to 3 July 2011 and will feature James Blunt, Ray Davies and Status Quo.

Lord and Lady Rotherwick of the Cornbury Park Estate had initially indicated that they intended to host their festival on the same weekend.

A spokesperson said Wilderness would be "a pioneering new festival of music, food, learning, literature and rejuvenation."

Gogol Bordello, Toots & The Maytals and Hayseed Dixie are also set to play.
