Norwich Research Park growth plan unveiled to public

Norwich Research Park covers a site to the west of the city
Major expansion plans at a Norfolk science park, that could create 5,000 jobs, are to go to public consultation.
Norwich Research Park, which includes the John Innes Centre, is looking to expand to the north and south of its current site in the west of the city.
The park's project manager, Nick Goodwin, said the growth would enable it to "stand on the world stage".
The consultation takes place on 24, 25 and 28 April at the University of East Anglia's Sportspark.
Mr Goodwin said the planning application for the work was due to be submitted in June.
Norwich Research Park specialises in biotechnology and biological research and encompasses the John Innes Centre, the Institute of Food Research and the University of East Anglia among others.
The research park said the expansion would create about 5,000 jobs over the next 10 to 15 years.
Last year the park received £26m from the government to stimulate new businesses and create jobs.
