Croydon: Murder arrest as woman, 19, stabbed to death

The woman was found with stab wounds at an address in Croydon
A 19-year-old woman has been stabbed to death in Croydon.
Police and paramedics were called to a house in Ash Tree Way at 16:10 GMT on Sunday.
The woman, who was found with stab wounds and pronounced dead at the scene, was an Indian national who had recently arrived in the UK, the Met Police said.
A man, 23, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He was treated for a minor head injury at hospital.
The man and woman were known to each other and officers are not looking for anyone else in relation to the investigation.
Officers are working to trace and inform her family.
