Five people have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager in east London.

Isschan Nicholls, 18, was attacked in a brawl involving up to 15 youths in Bow on 13 January.

Detectives have arrested four youths, aged 17 and 18, and re-arrested a 19-year-old in connection with the murder. They are in custody.

A total of 16 people have been held in connection with the death. The other 11 have been released without charge.

Mr Nicholls, from Poplar, east London, died in hospital two days after being attacked.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from stab wounds to the abdomen and thigh.
