Arrest after girl, 13, struck by off-road motorbike in Burnley
A 13-year-old girl was seriously hurt when she was knocked down by a scrambler bike as she crossed the road.
Lancashire Police said they were called to Briercliffe Road in the Duke Bar area of Burnley at 15:15 GMT on Thursday.
The girl was said to have been taken to hospital.
A 19-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and is in custody.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
