Poole: Crash after swan seen in road which led to car fire
A two-vehicle crash that caused a car fire happened after a swan was seen on a dual carriageway.
Firefighters and police were called to the A3049 Dorset Way, Poole, shortly before 08:00 BST.
Dorset Police said those involved in the crash, near to Mannings Heath roundabout, suffered minor injuries.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said rescue organisation Wildlife in Need attended to help with the swan, which "was unharmed and left the scene".
The road was closed for about two hours for the vehicles to be recovered and debris cleared, reopening at 09:50.
