Man in his 20s stabbed in Peterborough park
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after being stabbed in a park, police said.
Officers were called to Fulbridge Recreation Ground, Peterborough, at 13:35 BST.
Police said the victim was approached by two males, who had their faces covered and were wearing dark clothing, and stabbed.
Initially it was thought the victim had life-threatening injuries, but he has since been discharged from hospital.
Det Insp Dean Wiffin said: "I understand this incident is concerning for the local community.
"However, I would like to reassure people that we have got officers patrolling the area and we are doing all we can to gather information and find who is responsible."
