Discovery in Bradford of body in burnt-out car 'unexplained' - police

Police were called to Long Lane near Shipley after a member of the public reported a burnt-out car on Monday
A body has been found in a burnt-out car on a semi-rural lane in Bradford, police have said.
Officers and fire crews were called to Long Lane near Heaton after the car was reported by a member of the public at about 07:45 GMT on Monday.
The death was being treated as "unexplained" while inquiries continued, according to police.
Anyone who was in the area on Monday or overnight on Sunday was asked to get in touch with officers.
A cordon remained in place while forensic examinations were carried out to establish the full circumstances surrounding what had happened, police said.
