Berkshire child injured by falling roof tiles

A child was injured when they were hit by a falling roof tile from a "dangerous structure", a fire service has said.

Thames Valley Police and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene on Northbrook Street in Newbury on Thursday at 12:05 GMT .

The child was treated by firefighters at the scene, the service said.

Fire crews also carried out a full inspection of the roof and found no further tiles to be loose.
