Luton man admits manslaughter of Ashraful Choudhury

A man has admitted to the manslaughter of a man discovered injured at a property a year ago.

Ashraful Choudhury, 26, was found with serious injuries when police were called to Biscot Road in Luton on 11 January 2023.

Mr Choudhury died in hospital later.

Cameron Leckey, 33, of Biscot Road, pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder but admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility, at Luton Crown Court, on Monday.

He is due to be sentenced on 27 March.
