Dunstable Police appeal for witnesses to fatal Dunstable crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 90s was killed after being hit by a car on Thursday.
Bedfordshire Police were called to reports of a collision between a white Ford Ecosport and a pedestrian in Poynters Road, Dunstable, just after 16:50 GMT.
The victim, a pedestrian, died shortly afterwards.
"This is a deeply tragic incident, especially considering the time of year," said Sgt James Carmichael.
"We are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage to please get in touch with us as a matter of urgency."
The car driver remained at the scene and was helping police with their inquiries.
