Man charged with Syria-related terrorist acts

A man has been charged with preparing terrorist acts linked to Syria, the Metropolitan Police Force has said.
Patrick Kabele, 32, is accused of attempting to travel to Syria, contrary to the Terrorism Act, Scotland Yard said.
Mr Kabele, of Willesden, north-west London, will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday.
He was arrested on Wednesday in Brent, north London, by officers from the Met's counter-terrorism command.
