American model Emily Ratajkowski says other women don't want to work with her because of her "sexy image".

The 26-year-old shot to fame after dancing in the controversial video for Robin Thicke's track Blurred Lines.

She's told that she's lost work over it.

"There's this thing that happens to me, 'Oh, she's too sexy.' It's like an anti-woman thing that people don't want to work with me because my boobs are too big," she said.

"What's wrong with boobs? They're a beautiful feminine thing that need to be celebrated. Who cares?

"They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?"

Last year, Emily Ratajkowski defended a selfie of herself and Kim Kardashian, both in a bathroom with a black strip edited on to the picture.

"However sexual our bodies may be, we need to have the freedom as women to choose when and how we express our sexuality," the model said.

She's also appeared in films like Gone Girl and Entourage and recently said she wanted to launch a Hollywood career which wasn't based on how she looked.

"In every profile written about me, there is, 'She's so sexual and she's such a sex symbol,' paired with, 'But, wow, she knows about politics.'

"And that in itself is sexist," she told magazine.

Last year a series of naked pictures of her were released without her permission.

The model tweeted: "I've been resisting speaking publicly.... But I've had enough."

A website for the book containing the naked snaps had 71 images of her from 2012, before she was famous.

"This book and the images within them are a violation," she said.
