Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool in X-Men spin-off movie

Ryan Reynolds has confirmed he will return to play Deadpool, in the standalone 2016 X-Men spin-off movie.
The actor tweeted a picture of his character, masked mercenary Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, in a collage made up of bullets.
He also tweeted alongside the artwork: "Uh... It's Chimichanga Time."
While there was no official press release to confirm the news, the big hint was "Chimichanga".
"Uh... It's Chimichanga Time," Reynolds posted on Twitter, along with pic of his character made up of bullets
It is the Marvel comic character's favourite word.
Reynolds first made his appearance as Deadpool in the 2009 film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The movie was the fourth in the X-Men series, starring Hugh Jackman in his long-running role as Wolverine.
Originally the Deadpool was created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza and published as a Marvel comic book character in New Mutants 98 in February 1991.
Earlier this year, Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively announced they're expecting their first child together
The character is also nicknamed the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his talkative nature, for those not in the know, he is a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary.
Back in October, Reynolds' wife Blake Lively she was expecting their first child together.
The Gossip Girl star posted a picture of her baby bump on her lifestyle website.
Meanwhile, Marvel has that Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch will play Doctor Strange in a new film due for release in November 2016.
The Deadpool movie is expected to be released in February 2016.
