Adele has denied she's going to quit music for "four to five years".

It follows an interview with US magazine Vogue in which the singer suggested she was taking time off.

They quoted her as saying, "If I am constantly working, my relationships fail".

But in a blog post on her website Adele said: "I've a few days off now, and then it's the Brit Awards here at home and then I'm straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"

On Sunday, Adele won six Grammy awards including record of the year for Rolling In The Deep and album of the year for 21.

In her post she says it was "the most incredible night of my life".

"Thank you to you all," she wrote. "I am so overwhelmed, it's the strangest feeling. I have constant butterflies and goose bumps, it's wearing me out but I LOVE it!

"I've been sleeping a lot but the minute I wake up I burst out laughing and it starts all over again."

Adele's spokesman also told Newsbeat the comment she made to Vogue magazine was "off hand" and that "nothing's set in stone".

The singer equalled Beyonce's record for a female artist winning the most Grammys in one night.

Since its release in January 2011, her album 21 has sold more than 17 million copies worldwide.
