Tinie Tempah has joined the line-up for the Hop Farm Festival on Sunday 3 July.

The UK rapper plays ahead of headliner Prince and will be joined by the likes of Labrinth, Imelda May and girl group Parade.

Other artists confirmed for the festival include Brandon Flowers, Death Cab For Cutie, Newton Faulkner and Carl Barat.

The event, now in its fourth year, takes place between 1-3 July near Maidstone in Kent.

Previous headliners have included Bob Dylan, Paul Weller and Neil Young.

Tinie Tempah released his debut album Disc-Overy last year and has had two number one singles in the UK with Pass Out and Written In The Stars (featuring Eric Turner).

The 22-year-old Londoner, real name Patrick Okogwu, won two Brit awards in February and is now in the US promoting his music.

Written In The Stars peaked at number 12 in the American Billboard singles chart.

US rapper Wiz Khalifa also revealed to Newsbeat that he'd recorded a track called Till I'm Gone which features on the US release of Tempah's record.
