Â鶹ԼÅÄ News OnlineA man has been released on bail after an alleged assault involving three people in Jersey, police said.
A woman was injured in the suspected attack, but did not require medical treatment.
Before the incident, officers said a man in his 30s approached another man and a woman at the junction of Midvale Road and David Place, St Helier at about 13:00 on Thursday.
One of the men is thought to have been carrying a motorbike helmet.
Later on Thursday, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grave and criminal assault.

Guernsey Political ReporterGuernsey's Havelet Slipway bore the brunt of Friday's strong wind and waves, with the structure suffering "considerable" damage, Guernsey Harbours said.
The slipway is now closed to the public, with States staff assessing the damage.
Guernsey’s Harbourmaster Captain David Barker said: “This was a short sharp storm, with gusts up to Force Ten.
"Even though our harbours provide excellent protection from the weather, it still managed to damage some of our mooring pontoons and the slipway at Havelet Bay."

The Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled is launching a number of activities in the island this week.
Chair, Paul Patterson, says the organisation is keen to help anyone try any new sport - they just have to come forward...
Mr Patterson added the ultimate aim would be to get a Jersey athlete to compete in the Paralympics - although he said this would require a "huge fundraising effort".

Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio GuernseyOfficials are baffled as they try to discover why a beach in Guernsey has poor water quality.
Quality tests for Pembroke beach, in the north of the island, have been getting worse since 2003.
The Department for Environmental Health in Guernsey say it is "unable to pinpoint" why the beach has poor water quality".
Beaches in Guernsey are tested for water quality weekly during the summer period and every two weeks for the rest of the year.
Of the 13 tested, three have had their water quality categorised as poor; Pembroke, Petit Bot and Cobo.
Director of Environmental Health and Pollution Regulation, Tobin Cook, says they're continuing investigations.

The airline wants to purchase new planes that have '"clearvision technology" - which will help them to land in fog.
The decision will go before the States next month.
The plan has already been looked at by the States Trading Supervisory Board and The Policy and Resources Committee as well as being reviewed by external consultants.

Deputy John Young thinks a congestion charge could reduce gridlock and cut emissions.
Any change would need approval from both islanders and the States.
He says it would only need to be enforced at peak times.

Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio GuernseyAn initiative has been launched to recycle poppies in Guernsey.
The poppies will be collected and then shipped to the UK where they'll be broken down into their component parts and either recycled or re-purposed into new poppies for next year's appeal.

He says it's also helping to reduce plastic and paper waste in the island.
The Channel Islands Co-operative Society will display boxes in some of it's shops from Monday until the end of the month.The boxes will be at, or near, the customer service desks at Grand Marché stores in St Martin's and and St Sampson's.
