Presidential results map
This map of the US states is being filled in as presidential results are called. With three state results left to go the map shows huge swathes of the country going red to Donald Trump including much of the south, mid and north west regions. Kamala Harris picked up states in the north east, the west coast, as well as Colorado and Illinois. Donald Trump passed the critical threshold of 270 electoral college votes with a projected win in the state of Wisconsin making him the next US president.
