The hot weather provides plenty of headlines in today's papers.

The Sunday Times calls it the "Great British Bake Off", while the Sunday People says large parts of the country are facing "48 Hours from Hell".

is the headline for The Sun. The that union bosses are calling for workers to have the day off if workplace temperatures exceed 25 Celsius.

The Boris Johnson missed the government's emergency Cobra meeting to spend the weekend at the prime minister's country residence, Chequers. "Missing In Action" is its headline.

The Conservative leadership battle continues to dominate many front pages. The Telegraph - along with the Express and the Independent - to scrap or reform EU laws. Writing in the paper, the former chancellor says we must "seize the opportunities" of Brexit.

The four other candidates also write articles for the Telegraph - with Kemi Badenoch and Tom Tugendhat promising to build more homes. Liz Truss says she wants to cut taxes and red tape and Penny Mordaunt .

The Mail on Sunday and the Sunday Times which they say suggests Ms Mordaunt previously backed moves to allow gender self-identification for transgender people. Ms Mordaunt - a former Equalities Minister - has denied the papers' claims

In its editorial, the Sunday Times says the five contenders appear to have few firm ideas for fixing the gargantuan problems Britain faces. "The weak field of runners and riders", it adds, "betrays a government exhausted after 12 years in power".

The Observer describes the contest as "squalid" and "parochial". It says whoever the party picks will have no democratic mandate for their platform and policies.

The former Wales Rugby Union captain, Ryan Jones, that he has been diagnosed with early onset dementia. The 41-year-old tells the paper he feels like his world is "falling apart" and he doesn't know what the future holds.

A review for the Magistrates Association says some defendants have appeared at hearings from their homes, half-naked, slumped in their sofas or distracted by friends or family. One defendant apparently appeared at his hearing while in the bath.

A teacher who was falsely accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy she wants all teachers to wear body cameras and for there to be CCTV in every classroom.

Speaking after she was cleared by a jury, Rebecca Whitehurst said she also believed teachers should never be alone with children.

"I know it's dramatic," she says, "but I don't want what happened to me to ever happen to anyone else".
