Witness appeal after attempted rape in church grounds

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted rape in Brighton city centre.
Officers were called after a report of the incident which involved a man who was approached and attacked by an unknown man in the grounds of St Peter's Church at 06:30 BST on Saturday.
The victim got away from the suspect, who is described as tanned with long dark hair, of large build and wearing a green parka-style coat, Sussex Police said.
βPolice are investigating the incident,β a spokesman said.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact the force.
