Eight people rescued from property fire
Eight people have been rescued after a fire at a property in the early hours, officials have said.
The blaze broke out before 02:30 BST in Middlefield, Oldham, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed.
A dog was also rescued by firefighters, who tackled the flames for about three hours.
It is not clear if those who were rescued were injured.
