Woman in her 20s dies after being struck by car

A woman in her 20s has died after being struck by a car in County Donegal.
It happened at Illistrin early on Friday evening. She was a pedestrian.
The driver of the car is not reported to have been injured.
The N56 road between Letterkenny and Kilmacrennan will stay closed until after technical examinations of the scene are carried out on Saturday morning.
Gardaà (Irish police) have asked for anyone travelling in the area between 6pm and 7:15pm on Friday to make their dashcam footage available to police.
