Motorists face 50-minute delays

There are severe delays on a motorway after a lorry carrying livestock has crashed.

According to National Highways, all lanes have now reopened following the incident which happened on the northbound between J25 (Taunton) and J24 (Bridgwater).

There are currently about six miles of congestion, causing delays of 50 minutes above usual journey times.

Inrix also reports nearby congestion on routes through Thurloxton to North Petherton along the A38.
