Hospice theft and vandalism 'despicable'
Intruders struck at the warehouse of Teesside Hospice

Intruders have stolen donated items and vandalised the warehouse of a hospice.
Staff arriving on Tuesday morning at the Teesside Hospice headquarters on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough found smashed windows and other damage.
Thieves had removed packed parcels of items donated and sold through the charity's eBay site, which raises money to support those living with a terminal illness.
A hospice spokesperson said: "To steal is one thing, but to steal from a local hospice who directly supports Teessiders and their loved ones is despicable."
They added: "Those affected by the goods stolen have been contacted and refunded for their missing parcels, and we are taking every action to develop the security of our warehouse."
It is thought the offenders struck on Monday night or early on Tuesday morning.
The spokesperson thanked people for their support now and over the last 42 years, adding: "Without you, we would not be here to support the 3,000 vulnerable people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in Teesside every year."
