A woman is in a critical condition after a hit-and-run crash which also injured her one-year-old son.
The collision happened on Cattel Road in Small Heath, Birmingham, at about 23:45 GMT on Friday.
A 34-year-old man and the couple's one-year-old were treated for minor injuries.
Police are appealing for information about the crash, which involved the 30-year-old woman's blue Toyota Yaris and a blue Audi S3.
Det Sgt Paul Hughes from West Midlands Police said he wanted to hear from witnesses and those with dashcam footage.
βI know from CCTV that there were pedestrians and other cars at the scene who have not yet spoken to us," he said.
He urged the Audi driver to "do the right thing and come forward".
The car has been seized by police for forensic examination.
