Woman charged over death of mobility scooter user

A woman has been charged with the manslaughter of a disabled man who was robbed of his mobility scooter in a Tesco car park.
Kimberley Ann Hawkins, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with the manslaughter of Neil Shadwick, 63, in Stroud.
The charge relates to an incident in the car park of Tesco on Stratford Road on 22 January 2023.
Mr Shadwick was found unresponsive and without his mobility scooter, which he used as his mode of transport. He died in hospital later on the same day.
Ms Hawkins is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on 15 May.
