Fifth man arrested in city centre murder probe

A fifth man has been arrested by police investigating a fatal stabbing in Canterbury city centre.
A 23-year-old man was pronounced dead following an alleged assault in the High Street shortly before midnight on 10 October.
Kemal Ibrahim, 24, and Mohammed Hgar, 31, were previously charged with murder, while two others arrested in connection with the incident were released on bail, pending further inquiries.
A fifth man, aged 23, has since been arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.
The man, from Herne Bay, has been bailed, pending further inquiries.
Mr Ibrahim is also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Mr Hgar is also charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Both are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday.
