Assault involving group 'with blade' in Bristol
Police are appealing for witnesses after a young boy was assaulted by a group of young people, one of whom was carrying a weapon.
The incident happened in Gainsborough Square in Lockleaze, Bristol, on Saturday at around 16:00 BST.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called following reports of an altercation involving a group of young people, one of whom was carrying a "bladed article".
The force said a teenage boy was taken to hospital to have stitches applied to a wound on his arm.
The main suspect was described as being black, of slim build, and in his teens.
He was wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, black trousers and black trainers.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any footage which may help their investigation.
