Boy, 16, held on suspicion of raping girl
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a teenager reported she was sexually assaulted.
Police launched an investigation after the girl said she had been attacked in a wooded area off London Road in Preston on Sunday evening.
Lancashire Police said the boy, who is from Preston, was being questioned in custody.
A man aged in his 20s who had earlier been arrested on suspicion of rape has been bailed pending further inquiries.
