Police are appealing for help to identify a man they would like to speak to following an assault outside a nightclub.

Gloucestershire Constabulary has released three CCTV images in the hope someone recognises the man, following the incident in Cirencester at about 1:30 GMT on Sunday, 17 March.

An 18-year-old Stroud man was approached outside ReVA nightclub, in Bishops Walk, punched and thrown to the floor by an unknown man.

He was treated in hospital after suffering a fractured skull and cut lip.

The man seen in the images has medium-length brown/blonde hair, and is wearing a blue jumper with a green gilet or sleeveless jumper, and blue jeans.

Anyone witnesses or people with information are asked to contact 101, or get in touch via the Gloucestershire Constabulary website.
